Hi everyone! Our September meeting will held on Saturday, September 27 at the Worcester Art Museum. The museum has free admission on Saturday mornings as long as we arrive between 10 and noon. I would like us to meet at 10 a.m. so that we have plenty of time to view the many fine exhibits. Bring a lunch because afterward we have been invited to Betty Freed's home to chat and catch up as well as eat. Betty will provide the soft drinks, I will provide dessert. You may also want to bring a piece of artwork that you are working on to show.
I would like to know who is planning to come to the meeting so please let me know. I will also be sending an email to everyone for those who don't read this blog. My other question is, would we like a private tour of the museum? I can arrange it if enough people would like that. The cost is $2 per person and they would prefer a group of at least 10 people. If not, we can tour the museum on our own. So let me know ...
Despite the rain, we enjoyed the Worcester Art Museum and then our visit to Betty's for lunch and an informative afternoon of sharing our colored pencil works-in-progress. Unfortunately, I did a terrible job of taking photos and most came out blurry ... but you can see a little of what our talented group is working on!
